Years of Experience in Recycling
Jens Chr. Jensen
For more than 20 years Jens Christian Jensen has been engaged in waste treatment. Through the establishment of waste treatment systems in Denmark, the United States, England, France, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Sweden, Norway, Finland he has obtained excellent know-how within waste treatment problems world-wide.

In 2001 he established his own company Far East Consult with the purpose of combining the know-how from the Danish Waste Model with his detailed knowledge of waste problems world-wide. Jens Christian Jensen has a great respect for foreign cultures and traditions and believes that one of Far East Consult’s leading issues
in building up waste treatment systems is to combine the local culture and traditions with the waste know-how created in Denmark over the last 50 years.

This leading issue will now also cover Jensen & Averhoff.

Michael Averhoff
In 1948 when Else Brigitta Averhoff, the grandmother of Michael Averhoff, started collecting old newspapers, she hardly anticipated the future development that she took part in initiating.

The paper recycling industry was to grow in the years to follow, and the name of Averhoff was to be firmly embedded in the minds of people, within the recycling industry in Scandinavia.

In 1981, the Averhoff family was already predicting, that recycling of electronics would be an environmental requirement and with that also good business. Shortly after, as one of the first in Europe, the family began Research & Development of electronics recycling.

In 1985, the next generations established Averhoff Computer Recycling in Denmark, which today, under the ownership of the third generation, Michael Averhoff, is among the leading companies in Denmark. In addition, Michael Averhoff has been doing business as managing director within the waste industry in Germany for more than 6 years.
