Mechanical Treatment of Electronic Waste
After manual dismantling, the remaining electronic waste has to be further processed in order to save all recyclable parts and take away the last remaining, environmentally hazardous components. This process is done mechanically by using the very latest technologies and taking all environmental regulations into account.

Products
The metals that are produced throughout the process are passed on to the metalworking industry to be turned into new raw materials. Environmentally hazardous waste is disposed of according to current local regulations.

Process
The machinery and the technologies used, vary according tindividual requirements. A combination of waste types, quantities and frequency deter-mines the final configuration of the waste processing system.

Through our reference plants in Germany, Jensen & Averhoff has got an excellent know-how in the design of mechanical dismantling systems and the operation of dif-ferent types of plants. We are always able to design a plant that fulfils your requirements in terms of design, operation and economy. The entire process is a dry process. Generally, a plant consists of some of following machines:

• Shredders
• Hammer mills
• Magnetic separators
• Eddy current separators
• Air classifiers
• Air tables
• Conveyors
• QZ (extracting tanks)
